Kid’s Bridge To Success (Former Perrine Bridge Festival)
July 22 @ 7:00 am - 1:00 pm
We are back with a new facelift and excited to share our news! Be sure to mark your calendars as we make the 11th Annual Perrine Bridge Festival our best one yet! This year we have decided to change things up a bit in order to raise the highest amount of funds we can for the St. Luke’s Health Foundation – Children with Special Needs Fund. With a slight location and name change we hope to make Kids’ Bridge to Success better than ever before! Our focus is to have the highest turnout with the most amount of fun all while reaching our goals of increasing the fund. Since this event began we have raised over $270,000. Grants from this fund are issued to families of kids with special medical needs to help cover expenses for physical, speech, & occupational therapy. Needs include travel for procedures, counseling, medical equipment and other care.
The festival will take place on Saturday July 22nd and this year it will be on the CSI Campus. We will have three main events that will draw in funds for the event. Our first will be a race, formerly known as the “Run-Bike-Paddle” and redefined to the title of “Splash and Dash.” Simultaneously we will have a family, team-oriented “Amazing Race” scavenger hunt on the CSI grounds. When the competitions are completed everyone will experience the rubber duck race or better known as the “Duck Pluck” where we release hundreds of rubber ducks into the CSI waters where a great fisherman will catch ducks to reveal winners.
Our goal with these events is to provide a festival that has something for everyone to be a part of this fundraising. Like the saying goes, “It takes a village” and we need your help to make this event possible. Please consider becoming a Kids’ Bridge to Success sponsor.
